Local Resident Moves and Visits Highlight Week

Mrs. George Armstrong leaves this week to reside in Beulah. Miss Gravce and Ollie Cornish of Melita spent the weekend in town. Master Ed Duncan, who was visiting Mr. and Mrs. E. Bowles, has returned to Winnipeg.

Mr F E Cullen and Mrs J P Leam left for Regina on Friday. Mrs F E Cullen and family had been visiting Regina. Mr Wm Fotheringham, formerly egg grader at the Miniota Creamery, left last week for Winnipeg to resume studies at Manitoba University.

Open-air rink may return this winter at the school

Mrs. G Armstrong receives a framed motto from Pridge Club members at Mrs W L Hodnett’s home as she departs Miniota for Beulah. The G A of Holy Trinity Church hosts a whist drive and dance in her honor. The Miniota Women's Institute also pays tribute with Novelty Bridge and a special prize.
