Beulah United Church Women met at the president Mrs J Chisholm home on September 16 1964 with five members present. Reports were given by convenors the Fall Rally was discussed the executive meeting to be held in Hamiota on September 29. A vote of thanks was given for church cleanup efforts. Mrs. Annie May Gurr wife of the late Amos A. Gurr of Miniota died at Hamiota Hospital on September 8 1964. Born May 24 1893 she married Amos A. Gurr in Hamiota on June 17 1914 and lived her life in Miniota. Funeral September 11 1964 at 2 30 pm from Miniota United Church with Rev J Sloan, burial Arrow River Cemetery. Surviving seven sons two daughters and 14 grandchildren. Predeceased by husband and two infant children.
