A sad death occurred last Friday at Brandon Hospital as Wm Smith died from typhoid fever after earlier pneumonia. He had lived in Miniota six years, formerly from Petitcodiac New Brunswick, worked for R. Andrew and Bert Whitney, and his burial was in Brandon on the preceding Saturday.
