Miniota Council Meeting Reports 1968 Actions Adopted
Miniota Manitoba municipal council met September 5 1968 at 2 PM in the Municipal Hall. Minutes from August 6 approved. Council reviewed letters on road weed control dugout filling fuel deliveries transient accommodation and recreation newsletter. By laws 1580 and 1581 passed. Several land additions to 1968 tax roll approved with detailed roll numbers. Grants of 200 to each cemetery committee approved and tax refund issued to Robt. Search. PFIAA forms prepared. banking cheques authorized. meeting adjourned to October 1 1968.

A C W Meets At Mrs Howards Plans Sept Meeting
A C W met at Mrs Howards on Sept 9 with seven members present. A layette is being made to send to missions and a doll wardrobe is being sewn. Church cleaning was planned for this month. Arrangements were made for catering to a wedding reception. The next meeting will be at Mrs Mossop's home on Oct 21.
