Born at Two Creeks on Wednesday September 10 to Mr and Mrs J H Dunn a son. A Womans Institute meeting in Minnesota Thursday afternoon featured a discussion on tea preparation led by Mrs Cornish followed by a paper by Miss G Watts about her trips to U S and Canadian points.

The league releases game dates from September 19 to October 10 with matches including Miniota Arrow River Isabella Beulah and Fanbella. All games start at 5 p m sharp and the home team provides the ball.

The sacred Cantata The King in Zion will be sung Sunday evening at 7 30 p m in Union church Miniota with a 25 voice choir. A collection will be taken.
The municipal school trustees met Friday evening at Beulah. Resolutions included securing a room and teacher for Miniota, and a reply that the Beulah W M S cannot grant a requested action due to the Public School Act. They adjourned to meet at Miniota on the chairman's call.
The Manitoba Wheat Pool sets initial advance prices for pool wheat by carload and wagon lots at Fort William with grades from No. 1 Northern to Smutty No. 3 Northern and Durum. Elevator charges are two and a half cents per bushel for car lots and five and a fraction cents for wagon loads, with deviations handled by sample inspection and Chief Inspector settlement.
