The Miniota County Court met on a Wednesday with nine cases on the docket. Five were settled out of court, one stood for hearing at Brandon, and others involved judgments on accounts and disputes including Ross v R and C.G. Andrew and Ross v Morris.

Notes include a fire meeting at Miniota Hall on Saturday the 19th at 8 oclock, Harvest Thanksgiving on October 18, crop yields, wheat shipments, labor shortages in Virden, and magazine orders. The Miniota municipality urged the CPR to replace at grade crossings with overhead crossings on several highways and objected to GT P crossings north of Arrow River Mileage. Discussion noted that overhead bridges would require road raises and new rotations of life concerns. The railway company favored grade crossings as safer for all, and the decision was postponed.
A grand reunion for former students will be in Brandon Manitoba on the afternoon and evening of October 9 1908.
