Local News Briefs Report Elbow Injury and Travel Cast

Mrs. O Day broke a bone in her left elbow after falling from a horse on Sunday. Mrs Sharpe returned Thursday from a visit to Moree Humboldt and Saslaton. W Scott of Watrons, visiting the district, left Saturday for home. Three lives were claimed in an engine explosion.

Dinsmore Sask Parish Leader Attends Daughters Bridge Event

Notices report Rev. W H Corkhill now in charge of parishes in Dinsmore Surbiton and Miden Saskatchwan while Manitoba councils announce no further soldiers tax relief payments. A Daughters of England bridge party at Mrs F Hawthorne’s had five tables with prizes won by Mrs E H Bally and a social at Dr and Mrs R K Chalmers with contests and a luncheon.
