Miniota Wins Wade Trophy In Manitoba Good Roads Contest
The Manitoba Good Roads Association awards the Wade Trophy to the Village of Miniota in Group B Unincorporate Village for its beautification efforts. Voters in our municipality show apathy with 113 of 303 casting ballots for Ward 6 council. Geo C Cole leads Morton's 34–36 votes at Municipal Hall and Joseph's store respectively. Construction advances on the Trans Canada Pipeline as river dredging continues and pipe laying preparations unfold with heavy machinery on site.

School Board Actions Include Pay Changes and Dues Policy
A Tuesday meeting of the School board approved per diem rate changes for van routes and individuals. The board plans a social evening for teachers at Isabella and will arrange details. Dismissal times at Miniota were adjusted for October. Union dues will not be deducted from salaries. Complaints must be written or brought before the full board. Insurance on school contents rose by 250 for a sewing machine installed by the Women’s Institute at Beulah. Payments totaling 10408.03 were approved. Adjournment.
