Farm Progress Days Added to Brandon Extension Schedule
M Devesen Ag Rep announces Farm Progress Days a new rural short course series at the Brandon Agricultural Extension Center. Five one day sessions invite delegates from seven or more areas daily with all provincial regions represented by week end. November 25 to 30 schedule includes farmstead mechanization lectures and displays at the 4H Building with manufacturers from nine firms and provincial agriculture and hydro departments providing experts. Farmers are urged to contact their agricultural representative to attend.

Ladies Aid Meeting at Hamio ta Hospital No 7A
The Ladies Aid to Ham Iota Hospital No 7A met in the Community Room on Friday September 27 with Mrs. E Stewart presiding. Eleven districts were represented and members mended for the hospital. The treasurer reported a balance of 1452.39 dollars. The buying committee showed clothes for men women and boys.

Mrs. J. F. Tennant received Manitoba Life I recognition for long service since 1922. She served as director and held roles as President, Secretary or Treasurer, later becoming director and 1st Vice President in Minnesota. She moved to Brandon in 1962 for health reasons and now resides in Winnipeg Rehabilitation Centre awaiting therapy.
