At Kirtons Forster Miler a meeting for social evening with teaching staff at Miniota is planned for October. The next meeting occurs at Miniota on Tuesday November 7. At the Western Manitoba Musical Festival Association annual meeting in Hamiota, several members were appointed to committees and directorates. The Music Festival is set for May 15 and 16 in Hamiota.

Thanksgiving Services Power Church Week End Program
The United Church held Thanksgiving services led by Rev R G Thompson of Fosgarren with a decorated church and choir. A large crowd attended the fowl supper followed by a program featuring instrumental trios solos recitations and songs by local performers. Speeches of greeting came from Rev A J Radley Crandall and Rev H S Bowman Isabella and thanks were expressed to organizers.
