Supplement and local notices from Minot a district
This issue notes a supplement and announcements from Minot a district. Flour and feed unloadings are planned for October 9 and 10. HLH Spencer travels to Brandon for a clinic with Mrs Spencer. The Western Manitoba Teachers' Convention meets in Brandon starting Thursday with many local teachers attending. Mr Belt of Rivers appears in Miniota with The Phantom Broadcast and other features. The Minota Community Rank Committee held its 1934 5 season meeting with a $25.29 balance. New officers were elected and rink work planned. Rail fare rules change for 30 day local tickets allowing stopovers between start and destination after October 1.

Thanksgiving service draws large crowd at Holy Trinity Church
One of the largest congregations filled Holy Trinity Church for Farvest Thanksgiving. Rev F C Whittington delivered a hopeful sermon from Hebrews 11:40. J J Henderson assisted. the choir performed Glorious Things of Thee Are Spoken. Parish ladies served a fowl supper, with proceeds totaling about $40.
