Rural council to vote on electric lighting by law
The rural council plans to act on the electric lighting by law tonight with first and second readings. After approval the by law goes to the Public Utilities Commission for final action. If favorable lighting could be in place between now and December for Crandall and Mimota villages.

Miniota Lodge bids farewell to Dorwards before Vancouver move
On Friday night Miniota Lodge No. 102 A F and A M held a farewell for Mr and Mrs C A Dorward who depart for Vancouver this week. Worshipful Master J W Bonner presented Mr Dorward with a gold cuff links set engraved with the lodge emblem as attendees praised his service and regretted their departure, with about one hundred people in attendance showing their esteem.

Misiota School Postpones Parents Visiting Days
School announces postponement of Parents Visiting Days due to Mainiota Chautauqua next week and convention attendance. Schools will close Wednesday Thursday and Friday for staff to attend events. Monday hosted the third annual Misiota Track and Field Meet on school grounds with strong community support and thanks from the staff.
