School Board Meeting Ends With Staff and Transportation Changes
The School Board met in Miniota with R. A. Phillips named caretaker of Txabella school at 50 dollars monthly plus residence. Beulah Be. Emond and other staff listed with salaries. Transportation rates adjusted: Arrow River, Beulah, Isabella, Miniota, and Blaris see changes. Board to reconvene in Mini sta on Tuesday, December 19.

Annual Bazaar and Youth Rally at Miniota United Church
The Miniota United Church Womens Association hosts its Annual Bazaar on Saturday from 3 p.m. in the church parlor with a ham supper at 5:30. Admission to supper is 35 cents, children under 12 pay 20 cents. A Young People’s Rally of Birtle No 2 Presbyterial was held Wednesday evening with 68 attendees. A basket supper, sing-song, games, and talks on Christian Citizenship and missionary work followed led by Keith Mitchell and Rev. E Egilsson and others. New officers were installed by Rev. Bowman with Mrs. Finkbeiner as President and Miss Sadie Gurr as Secretary-Treasurer.
