Minio ta Council Debates Assessments and Passes Local Measures
Minio ta Rural Council met November 5 in the Court of Revision. Assessments and personal property rolls for 1946 were adopted. Grants approved include 150 dollars to the Children's Aid Society of Western Manitoba and 20 thousand dollars for the Victory Loan bonds. The meeting set a 30 day option for the Director of Veterans and Act on NW 8 and 8% 17-14-26 and adjourned with a planned session on November 13.

The Min ta school board met October 31 and named Jessrs Chalmers Heyhoe and Ise as delegates to the Regional Convention of the Canadian School Trustees Association. They changed bus routes and fares across Arrow River, Jenlah, Isabbella, Iniota and Hi nona districts with various fare increases and reductions. RM Oliver was named Attendance Officer for 1945 6 and 2 09 funds were to be invested in the 9th Victory Loan. Payments totaling 10 063 31 were approved for the period. The next meeting will be held in Miniota at the call of the chair.
