Open meeting at Municipal Hall on Monday November 18 at 8 30 to discuss purchasing a community owned Standard double 35 mm picture show outfit and the hall. Everyone invited to attend and take part in the discussion. Ladies especially urged. This matter concerns all.
The initial meeting of Juniata W J will be held at Mrs Spencer’s home this Thursday afternoon. On Friday a group of former school chums visited Mrs Janet Cunningham Getty’s parents home to present an autograph album with money and a thanks speech. A lunch and social time followed. Mrs Getty will leave soon for Philadelphia USA.
On Friday next week November 22 electors of Miniota municipality vote on Local Option. Polls open from morning until afternoon at listed polling places. Voters must be British subjects aged 21 with one year in province and three months in municipality, or be vouched for by an elector on the list. Ballot details follow.
