U C W Meet at Mrs Knights November Meeting
The U C W gathered at Mrs G Knight on Thursday November 2 at 8 00 pm with eleven members and two visitors. A remembrance devotion was led by Mrs L Anderson and Mrs W Brown. Treasurer reported 854 21 balance. Committees split into five to organize catering items. Next meeting December 7 at Mrs W Klippenstein with Irene and Gladys Riddell on program. Lunch group listed.

Trapline Incentive Program In Manitoba Proves Effective
Manitoba Hydro five year Registered Trapline Program shows $603,159 in compensation paid so far and median or better production. Introduced fall 1975 to aid trappers affected by northern projects, it now covers 108 traplines and 258 trappers. The plan pays based on best year in ten and offers re establishment bonuses. It aims to spur new traplines and better use of existing ones with help from Renewable Resources, Local Fur Councils, and the Northern Flood Committee.
