The annual sports day is set for Thursday July 4 with rounds in fair condition and a prize list promised as the best yet. Citizens are urged to cooperate for a top event.

A Wynona FP meeting at F E Cullens farm on Monday night elected Captain F E Cullen Vice Captain J Walker and Sec Treas A C Cullen. Practice nights are Wednesday and Saturday at A Ross s farm. A basketball match Friday night between the Beneddicts and the Single Ones drew a large crowd with the score reversed from the first game. Desmond was accused of bluffing. Lieut Jin Evans and Inspector Wallace Berk were noted for guarding. Several players were penalized for tripping and body checking.
