The MinIota council met in the Municipal Office on Tuesday May 9 1972 at 7 30 p.m with all members present. The meeting adopted the April 11 1972 and April 17 24 27 1972 minutes and heard many letters from Ducks Unlimited Virden Local Health Unit Crandall Hardware Manitoba Telephone System and others. The financial statement for April was approved and By Law 1641 was read a second time and third time with unanimous consent. The council approved dust control on several streets allocated 50 50 with Miniota, authorized calcium treatment on PR 274 and other streets, approved participation in beautification and farming competitions, adjourned to Court of Revision, and planned next meeting for June 13 1972.
