First woman to fly Atlantic lands in Ireland after 15 hour flight
The first woman to fly the Atlantic completed the journey with a safe landing in Ireland after about 15 hours and 30 minutes. Five years to the date of Lindy’s France crossing, the feat marks a notable milestone in early aviation history. Nominations for the electoral division of Hamiota will be held June 6 in the Council Chamber from noon to 1 PM. Elections are set for Thursday June 16 from 8 AM to 7 PM.

First Shipments Sail From Churchill To Europe
