Sports Committee to Hold Meeting in Hawthorne's Hall

Citizens are urged to attend a May 30 meeting at 8 30 p m in Hawthorne's Hall. The gathering will review last year's financial statement and appoint a new committee and set a sports date. Last year's committee achieved a positive balance. organizers hope this year matches or exceeds it. A tag day for the Ninetis Sanitarium will be observed in Manitoba on June 3.

A Montreal correspondent notes that by summer’s end Canada will see about 170 new towns, all in the West, created rapidly by railroad development with hotels courts jails and a station on paper. Railroads like Canadian Pacific Grand Trunk Pacific and Canadian Northern spearhead the growth.
