A son named Lawrence William was born Tuesday May 17 at Miniota Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Wm Walker formerly Constance Andrew of Miniota. The family announces the birth.

Fifteen years ago Mrs. Angus Craig died at 53, a daughter to Mr. and Mrs R D Gow. W T Turner elected president and W H Hurlin manager of the Minicta Band. Tragic drowning of Jack in Power's lagoon near Miniota
Jack, 16, disappeared while trying to retrieve a duck in Power's lagoon Sunday afternoon. His body recovered Monday morning. inquest deemed unnecessary. Survived by parents, eight brothers and two sisters, with funeral at Trinity church in Miniota today conducted by Rev Finch.
