Municipal Council Minutes Read and Budgets Approved
The Bul Municipality held its May meeting at 10 o clock am with the Reeve presiding and all councillors present. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Correspondence included accounts for right of way and funeral expenses, education department notes, assessor appointment, and a grant for a sanatorium. The council approved revised assessments as the legal rate for 1908, authorized appointing G E Mellor as assessor, and voted several payments including to the Children’s Aid Society and to the undertaker for the Knight/Serrant estate. Debentures tender from McKenzie & Co. for 12 000 funds was accepted at 11 720.
