A meeting of business men and interested parties is set for 8 pm Wednesday May 22 at Municipal Hall to discuss forming a Miniota and district Board of Trade. Mrs J C Vradenburgh Mrs K A Mover with alternates Mrs J Walker and Mrs A J Davis attend or assist.
Community updates include moves to Edenwold Sask and Edmorton BC visits, a frost damage report, and the arrival of a diesel tractor for Miniota. Local banking staff holidays, presbytery attendance, a new Hydro residence purchase, and talks on the Municipal Telephone System in Winnipeg are noted. Baseball practice led to a vote of officers and a league schedule with several games postponed for cold weather. The W I met with 13 members as Mrs Hanlin presiding and a report from Shoal Lake district convention was shared.
