Rural Council Meeting at Miniota Sets Various Local Measures
The Rural Municipality of Miniota held a Saturday meeting presided by Reeve Mitchell. Resolutions include repairing the Miniota Cemetery fence, studying Powell Estate land and Lynch settlement borrow pits, inviting objections to the Good Road West change, sending by law 611 to electors for vote, seeking prices on telephone material, approving bids for wire stringing and braces, granting 25 to Boys and Girls Clubs, and checking overhead railway bridge condition. Next meeting to be called by the reeve.

Miniota School Board to Interview Prospective Appointments
Miniota Municipal School Board convened Tuesday afternoon with President J A Frazer presiding. They instructed Mr Averach to interview Evans and Thompson on route and unresolved supervisor position was dispensed with. Estimates totaling 6151000 were to be passed and sent to the council. Next meeting set for Miniota on Tuesday June 6 at 2 30.
