Manitoba announces war on gophers and crews for 1428, with an agriculture department hosted pest contest offering 2000 dollars in prizes. Contest open to all residents through September. winners earn per gopher tail crow egg and crow leg points.

P J A Cardin announces in the house that Canadian authorities will not renew broadcasting licenses for the International Bible Students associations due to widespread protests and objections to the on air propaganda. He cites petitions from provincial and municipal authorities and listeners and notes limited wave bands.
