Seminar on revitalizing rural church life in Manitoba
Mrs. Frank Rowan and I attended a one and a half day seminar at the Agriculture Center in Brandon. Guest speaker Rod Bailey cited studies suggesting viable rural communities need about 5000 people and a church requires roughly 600 members to support education and missions, urging regional cooperation across towns to attract industry and lead change in community life. Next week, Mrs. Rowan will share her impressions.
