Canadian Pacific to launch coordinated rail and highway service
The Canadian Pacific Express Co will start five route co ordinated rail and highway service from Brandon Manitoba to Killarney Souris Boissevain Melita Miniota with five routes active initially Three routes begin Monday and the rest follow as road conditions permit Less than car load freight and express shipments arriving at Brandon by rail will be trans shipped to highway trucks and delivered by semi trailer and van type vehicles Killarney green vehicles will operate from the old Great Northern station now CP property on daily round trips excluding Sundays Trucks will move Winnipeg shipments from noon to evening to Brandon for morning road truck delivery and end at Brandon or beyond.
