The Manitoba Mission Auxiliary plans an Easter meeting at 8 o clock on April 30 in Beulah Presbyterian Church. Aged famine relief will be served after a free will offering to aid missions. Rev S D Thomas in Winnipeg on business expected to return evening. All are welcome.
Readers learn of a claimed cure for catarrh by Hall's Catarrh Cure. The ad asserts the medicine cures constitutional disease by targeting blood and mucous surfaces. It promises $100 for any uncurable case and urges sending for testimonials and product details.
Mary Ann McConnell wife of Wm Jones of De Clare Ontario died after an illness, aged 60. She leaves husband and three sons Humfrey Robt and William, funeral held at Elkhorn cemetery with a large congregation. Sympathy extended to the Jones family.
