Chas Ellerington accompanied a varied stock shipment to Winnipeg last week. Mrs McCulough of Winnipeg visits with Mr and Mrs A Chipman. P S MacPherson attends the Grand Lodge session of the IOOF in Winnipeg this week.
Miniota patterns feature new Spring designs with prices listed as 10c and 15c. A.Gurr attended the Manitoba Egg and Poultry Pool convention in Winnipeg last week. A local mixed bonspiel was decided for Thursday at the curlers’ meeting held last Wednesday.
The Rural Council in Miniota discussed relief measures tax titles and federal farm loans. They authorized payments and transfers seed grain loans and seed outs loans to farmers unable to secure seed. They also approved leases sales and purchases of land and property and appointed a committee to secure seed grain. The next meeting will be called by the Reeve.
