Miniota School Trustees Hold Session and Pass Readings Policy
The Miniota board met Tuesday afternoon. Minutes from the prior meeting were read and adopted. The secretary gave a report in Supervisor's absence. Resolutions approved include reading of Scripture and Lord's prayer before daily school closure, and provisions for Inspection leave for Mr. Neelin. The secretary was instructed to respond to Bennett and Squibb regarding transport costs for Mr. Long’s children under the Schools Act. Open orders for Elliott Warren and others noted.

Russell Lynch visited Winnipeg last Friday. Conway Dorward Junior left for Winnipeg to visit his brother Willie. A Saturday meeting to organize a district horse club drew good attendance. A committee was appointed to survey interest and districts will be formed. A follow up meeting in the Municipal hall Wednesday at 2 pm will finalize membership with a $5 fee.
