Keith Armitage and Pick Scott traveled to Council Bluffs Iowa and other U S locations for visits. Chas Armitage had a tonsil operation in Brandon last week and returned home with his wife and young daughter joining from Angusville. Miniota YPA held a well attended meeting led by Dorothy Vradenburgh with a devotional segment and discussions on a memorial plaque organ and closing banquet. The Avalanche group led by Betty Vradenburgh presented Italy related articles by A Grant and E Rollo with gifts from Italy shown and the evening ended with games and lunch.

Red Cross Fund Drive Underway in Canada
The Canadian Red Cross Society launches its annual appeal to fund a province wide blood transfusion service. The program will provide plasma, blood and equipment free to every hospital in Manitoba with no charge to patients in need.
