Clergy and citizens plan the annual memorial service in Miniota town park on Sunday July 1 at 3 p m to honor fallen soldiers of the great war. The program includes invocations hymns prayers addresses roll call of the dead and Last Post with seating for about 250 and ushers from returned soldiers.
Sunday next is Dominion Day and on account of this fact the stores will observe the holiday on Monday and close all day. It has been found necessary to issue a supplement with this weeks paper on account of extra advertising and we want you to read all of it for the important items contained therein.
