Mrs Ellerington chaired the W S meeting at the Community Centre on Friday afternoon. A committee of Mrs Tennant Stowe and Long will direct ongoing Home Grounds. Reports covered district and provincial conventions with a $10 donation to the Peace Garden Project. A Red Cross project was finished and a Family Picnic planned for June 27. A new cemetery and park lawnmower was purchased. Louise Batho demonstrated fancy summer sandwiches with new cutting ideas and fillings. Tea hosts were Mrs Hanlin Collier and Tennant.
