The June meeting of the W I at Mrs. J T Finkbeiner's home drew 14 members and two visitors. President Mrs. J E Finkbeiner led discussions on Elsie Zimmerman’s recent death and a memorial fund, a possible M in sota Museum, and the plan for W I to provide meals for Sports Day proceeds. Hospital Aid report and provincial convention notes followed with insights on rural development. Tea hosted by Mrs. A Norrie and Mrs. J T Finkbeiner.

Ladies gathered for the Ladies Bridge Club on June 9 hosted by Millie Attwood with eight ladies present and one male joining later. Tillie Draper achieved the high score while Peg Clark had the low. Prizes for the meeting before June 9 were reported wrong. Mrs. Stowe was first and Mrs. Blaich consolation. Next meeting is June 22 at Viona Hastman’s home.

The June 15 meeting at Mrs. R. J. Wiltshire home was led by Mrs. P. Gow. Members exchanged plant slips for roll call and heard a talk titled False Pretense. They noted hospital allocations, a June 30 hospital supper and tea at Lenore. Mrs. Pierce and Wiltshire reported on the district convention at Birtle, Brandon convention highlights read aloud, and Mrs. Don Green of Beulah won the sewing machine raffle drawn by Mrs. C. Graham. Lunch followed.
