Mies Hf Turner travels to Vancouver to represent Lodge Argha, Daught ers of Royland, as delegate at the Grand Lodge session opening Tuesday. A Mintota sports day meeting last Thursday decided to set up a sub committee to arrange the event with fall details to follow.
A vibrant opening parade marked the schools field day on Minista grounds. Carnegie Pipers played as students showcased colors and team pride before keen track and field events. Refreshments were served by United and Anglican church ladies. a dance followed led by local organizers.
The Miniota Rural Council approves Albert Jolley Oil Age Pension starting June 1 at 20 dollars per month and funds for fencing, road work, and property leases. The Court of Revision for electors’ roster is set for July 18 1986 with council meeting on July 15.
