Obituary Charles McKay Pioneer of Arrowton District
Charles VicKav, 90, early Arrowton district wrtler, died May 39 in Hamiota hospital. He and family moved from Ontario in 1897, settled on 23-14-25. He later sold to son in law T A Gray, retired to Orangeville, then returned to Manitoba and lived with daughters Mrs McKay and Mrs Hanna in Hamiota. A son Wesley resided in Baleares, Sask. Farnett died last year. Funeral Sunday at MecConnell Funeral chapel with rural cemetery in Hamiota.

Mrs Clara May Brisbin, born March 13 1895 in Ontario, died May 25 in Winnipeg and resided in Isabella since 1928 with husband Harry M Brisbin. Funeral at Isabella United Church led by Rev A M Watts reflected a life of community service. she leaves Jack in Toronto, Clyde Clifford Leo in Canada, a sister Mrs W Hanson in Calgary, and three granddaughters.
