Hydro power contract approved for district electrification
After lengthy talks the Manitoba Power Commission hydro project was unanimously chosen to supply electricity to the district. McLean and Bingham announced the terms are agreeable and construction starts soon. Power should reach villages within one to three months with full energy by September at latest.

Rural Council Minutes From Minsota Meeting
The Rural Council met Saturday in Minsota and approved bids for feeder work by Hazen K. Chalmers at 14 to 15 cents per cubic yard mile for screening loading dumping and spreading. Wm O Callaghan for wire mesh guard rail at 190 per lineal foot and Canada Ingot Co for 29c per foot. Manitoba Hardware offered fence paste totals. The council refused responsibility for John Laramah’s children. Extensions to gravelling and a contract for Hazen Chalmers were approved. By law 683 road work received third reading and the council rejected Nations Utilities Corp line through the municipality in favor of Manitoba Power Commission contracts. Next meeting called by the Reeve.
