The Rural Municipality of Miniota warns that anyone interfering with or destroying road signs or damaging municipal property will be prosecuted. Readers are invited to send news tips to the office.
The twenty second annual Miniota Agricultural Society show closed Tuesday July 23 with exhibits surpassing the 000 mark. Prizes were awarded across cattle and horse classes led by W English of Harding and Fraser Bros. Attendance topped last year and a picture show and dance capped the evening. The fair featured horse racing baseball and events in the horse shoe throwing contest and weight judging with close prize divisions.
The Miniota Agricultural Society weighs forming a Bear Rental Association. Breeding sow owners who are interested should contact Secretary John Spalding at Miniota to express interest and obtain details.

A blaze at the A. M. Partridge rented farm four miles south of Crardall damaged the barn and burned animals including one cow and calf and four horses. The harness, granary, oats and hay were lost. Insured by Wawanesa Mutual.
