Miniota council meeting approves grants and civic holiday
The Miniota Municipal Council met July 11 1972 in the Municipal Office with all members present. The meeting approved a capital grant application for rink insulation, crossing retention with CP Rail, purchase of Station Grounds and Park property for 350 plus fencing, a sewage connection for Mr Angell, a Civic Holiday on August 7, office closure August 12 to 25, and financial statements May and June 1972. Dog vaccination clinics were announced for fall and Bangs inoculations to continue in October.
