Miniota school trustees opened bids and awarded van driving contracts for several area schools including Blairs Isabella Peulah Arrow River Palmerston Wyriona and Miniota. A deputation urged keeping Glenlechar open until June 50 1929. next meeting set for January 3.
The Herald reports no issue on January 2. On December 25 the sun reached 82 degrees. Old timers are urged to check diaries. The last council meeting did not advance the electric lighting question due to insufficient information.
