A sociable crowd enjoyed a Friday night whist drive and dance with seventeen tables in play. High scores went to Mrs Mossop Mr Bohrn and Miss Coulthard, Mrs Mossop won the prize after a card cut. Consolation prizes went to Miss Blelloch and Francis Sparks. Music by the Western Gentleman. A lunch was served and the Miniota Hockey Club boosted its funds. Speculation grows on the Community Centre’s opening date.
