Two Creeks and Two Creaks prepare to enter a crack rink in the Miniota bonspiel and, after prize wins last year, are expected to contend with top competitors. A party at Joe Sazaras home drew about forty guests Wednesday evening despite bad weather and some long drives.
Beulah hosts a Friday box social and an English church service at 3 o clock Sunday. Visitors include W A Doyle of Florence Montana, formerly Beulah, and James Orr who returns from Binscarth. Beulah plans two rinks for the Miniota bonspiel and expects to win prizes.
Holmes questions a cabman who ferried a detective posing as Sherlock Holmes. The driver names John Clayton of Turpey Street and describes a Trafalgar Square pickup, a Northumberland Hotel stop, and a ride to Waterloo Station ending with the reveal. Holmes notes another failed lead and continues the hunt.
