Municipal Council held a general meeting at Municipal Hall on January 9 1973 with most members present. It adopted December 12 1972 and December 13 28 1972 minutes, approved By-law 1652 and 1653, set 1973 dues and grants, authorized signing with Royal Bank of Canada, and approved 1973 snowplow and road rates. The meeting included discussions with Manitoba Hydro Park Lodge Home representatives and New Horizon Group about senior housing and a Drop In Centre. New committee actions covered insecticide program attendance Brandon January 1973 and 1973 financials and payments. Meeting adjourned to February 13 1973.

The annual meeting of the Village Ratepayers will convene Monday January 22 at 2 00 p m in the Miniota Community Centre. Attendees will discuss park area development on the former station grounds recently purchased from C P Rail.
