Death by Own Action Ends Free-Spending Ontario Farm Pair
The Brooklin couple Ronald Hodson and his wife, aged 65 and 64, were found dead in a Toronto hotel from cyanide poisoning. Their 128 acre Hudson farm, held for 150 years, was sold last March after a four year spending spree totaling 35000 for liquor clothes and luxuries, ending in destitution. Mr Hodson, a former Ontario Agriculture College graduate and once deputy minister of agriculture in British Columbia, was respected before the spree.
