After multiple meetings a large citizen group adopted a resolution to form The Miniota Community Centre Ltd. The elected Board of Managers is authorized to purchase the Miniota hall and establish a weekly picture show after trial of two standard motion picture machines. School Board Meets in Minnesota Sets 1947 Chair
The Municipal School Board met in Minnesota on Thursday January 2 with John Spalding presiding. Trustees Coxworth Bell Mitchell and Walker took office. Dr R K Chalmers named Chairman for 1947. R E Heise served as chairman in his absence. The board offered 1750 for a house and lot in Isabella for a teacher residence and appointed 1947 committees including Finance and Teachers with named members.
