United U P S Meeting and Bonspiel News
The United U P S gathered in the church basement on Wednesday with a Vitizen Group program led by Miss Helen Bally. Gordon Long chaired a discussion on Young Folks and the Home. A social hour with games and lunch followed. On Saturday a bonspiel featured 11 rinks. Hugh Hanlin's rink defeated Lorne Powell's in the final. The winning rink included Hugh Hanlin Herb McRae Miss E Kelly and Dorothy Spalding. Consolation games were not finished but will be held next Saturday.
