Alex MacKean returned from Winnipeg General Hospital after wrist surgery requiring bone graft. Miniota Village population 258 in 1955, up 12 from 1954. 1954 municipal vital stats include 26 marriages and many former residents who passed away. Unusual December weather noted with ducks on open river, dust blowing, lilac leaves budding. artificial ice curling and hockey schedules disrupted. Quick Freeze meat storage not fully successful. weather now more seasonable.
