Readers are warned that all correspondence must be one sided on paper and placed in a sealed envelope addressed to The Horror MismoTa Herald. It must include the writer signature and address along with the pen name and anonymity will not be accepted as a guarantee of good faith.
In Miniota the town lacks a formal fire brigade and lacks clear leadership in a blaze. The piece urges organized bucket brigades and demands active involvement from Insurance Cos and business leaders to protect property, asking for letters on the topic for publication.

Anniversary services at the Miniota Methodist Church drew large crowds with joint prayers from the Methodist, Presbyterian, and English churches. Rev. Caleb Parker preached on future life and destiny, urging unity and mutual support among local denominations. Choirs from Miniota and nearby churches offered strong musical support at 3 PM and 7:30 PM sessions.
Arrangements are nearly complete for the bonspiel starting Monday night at 8 oclock. Prize lists have been printed and sent to various places and form a fine list. They are on view in the Manitoba Hardware and Lambert Co window.
Messrs E. L. Drewry, via Mr. J. D. Forsyth, donate four leather wallets engraved for rinks winning the most games in the bonspiel. Prize list notes this gift was added after distribution.
