Saskatchewan ARDA water study maps buried valleys and flows
Saskatchewan and federal ARDA programs fund a two part study by the Saskatchewan Research Council and University of Saskatchewan to map groundwater and surface water across southern Saskatchewan. Led by Dr. Christiansen, the project tracks buried pre glacial valleys and a possible underground link between the South and North Saskatchewan rivers, with aims to provide practical water sources for farms towns and industry while developing desalinization and storage methods for future use.
