First Fathers and Sons Banquet Held in Community
On February 9 the Fathers and Sons Banquet was held as the first event of its kind. Rev A Moffat spoke to sixty fathers and sons at the church on the preceding Sunday. A broom ball game at the rink preceded a church basement banquet with music, toasts, and community songs. The Rev A Moffat acted as toastmaster, with numerous toasts named after fathers and community groups. The program featured musical numbers, a boys chorus, elocutionary pieces, and generous accompaniment by Mrs Russell Lynch. The event was deemed a great success and promised to become an annual occasion, led by supportive mothers and local volunteers.

Local polling divisions organize campaign fund drive
Committees to oversee polling divisions were named and the constituency agreed to raise 1300 for campaign funds with 100 delivered on the spot. Anniversary Sunday is set for March 11 and all funds should be collected before that date. A local committee was formed at Union church with Mrs Stewart Mrs Moffat and several gentlemen including Rev A Moffat and J Spalding.

Miniota News Tells Of Dance Music Radio And Travel

Miniota Village Council Announces Annual Meeting Actions
Citizens gathered for Miniota's annual village meeting with Me. Gemmel presiding. Resolutions include electing John Spalding as councillor for three years, planting trees on streets, Boyce to enforce herd law, appointing a village constable, supporting park site improvements, and a $25 payment to Jas Boyce for 1922 services. The village warns owners to keep horses and cows off roads as wandering livestock will be placed in the pound. Damage to trees and gardens has grown, and the rule will be rigidly applied in spring and summer. Speeding cars in village streets will face magistrate penalties.
